Terms and Conditions for Sponsors and Donors

1. Introduction

1.1 Bee Smart: Financial Literacy is a project managed by Small Steps to Big Ideas CIC (SSTBI), a registered non-profit Community Interest Company.

1.2 These Terms and Conditions outline the responsibilities, commitments, and rights of sponsors supporting this project.

1.3 All information provided herein is accurate to the best of our knowledge at the time of writing.

2. Financial Governance

2.1 Non-Profit Status: SSTBI operates strictly on a non-profit basis. All sponsorship funds will be allocated directly to the Bee Smart project.

2.2 Transparency: As a sponsor, you will have the provision to access financial records, quotes, and receipts to ensure financial propriety.

 2.3 Employee and Director Benefits: While directors and employees may benefit from services linked to the project:

2.3.a This will only occur where there is clear justification.

2.3.b Our priority is always the project’s objectives.

2.4 Spending Commitment:

2.4.a We commit to allocating 100% of sponsorship funds to the Bee Smart project.

2.4.b Any surplus, limited to 2.5% of the entire project budget, may be used at SSTBI’s discretion to support organisational resilience.

2.5 Production Trigger:

2.5.a Once we reach a minimum sponsorship threshold covering 60% of the project’s budget, and

2.5.b Have full confidence in future funding commitments,

2.5.c We reserve the right to commence production activities.

3. Project Scope and Targets

3.1 Provisional Target: As of the date of writing:

3.1.a Our goal is to reach 10,000 children.

3.1.b This target is provisional and may change due to costs, sponsorship levels, and operational considerations.

4. Procedural Commitment to Sponsors

4.1 Transparency in Reach: We will provide clear reports detailing the number of children and schools supported.

4.2 Financial Clarity: Sponsors will have access to financial data and detailed spending reports.

4.3 Measurable Impact: Regular updates will be provided, showcasing the outcomes and benefits generated through sponsorship support.

5. Sponsor Benefits

Sponsors of Bee Smart will receive the following benefits in kind, which are provided as a token of appreciation for your support and do not constitute paid services. These benefits carry no commercial value and create no contractual obligations for SSTBI:

5.1 Logo Placement: Prominent display of your brand across educational materials, media content, and our website, including advertising and PR efforts.

5.2 Recognition & Acknowledgment: Public acknowledgment in marketing materials, social media, press releases, and community initiatives.

5.3 Regular Reporting: Transparent reports detailing sponsorship impact, including outreach data and success stories.

5.4 PR Contribution: Support for your PR activities, highlighting your role in advancing financial literacy and community development.

6. Practical Limitations

6.1 Content Control: While we will feature sponsor logos and acknowledgments, SSTBI retains full editorial control over educational content to maintain impartiality.

6.2 Non-Exclusivity: Sponsorship does not grant exclusive rights over the project’s content, branding, or partnerships.

6.3 Liability Limitation: SSTBI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from sponsorship activities.

6.4 Right to Refuse Sponsorship: SSTBI reserves the right to decline sponsorships that conflict with our values or project goals.

6.5 Amendments: These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically. Sponsors will be notified of any material changes.
